Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside of the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that all room reservations be made through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

* Please note if the room category you wish to book is not available, you can reach out to MarieSam and she can request an additional room at the discounted rate. 

When should we arrive?
You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available from May 5-12, 2025. And the Wedding is on Thursday, May 8th. We recommend that you arrive at least 1-2 days before the celebration so you can make it a vacation to remember. But please come and stay as long as you'd like. 

What should I wear to the Wedding Celebration?
For the Wedding Day please dress in Beach Formal attire -- think beachy, but elegant. 

Are kids invited to the wedding?
Secrets is an adults-only resort that allows only guests ages 18+. So while we love your children, this will be an adults-only celebration.  

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Cancun Airport to our host resort is included with our group block rates. After you book your flights, please share your flight info with our travel coordintor MarieSam so she can schedule your airport shuttle pickup and drop off accordingly. If you would like to plan any excursions, please ask MarieSam for information and assistance.

Do you we have to stay at Secrets? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
Yes, all guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding festivities and they must book their room through our travel agent. A huge part of what makes a destination celebration special is being able to spend time with our family and friends by the pool or beach and sharing meals and drinks together. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Costa Mujeres, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.
